Supporters might be interested in a webinar to be held on 12 September at 19:00 on this subject details: https://europe-calling.de/en/webinar/power-to-the-people-odyssey/ Entitled Power to the People, it will be unusual in that it is in 10 different languages with simultaneous translations.

Don’t forget the next Democracy Café is on Saturday 14th at 10:00 as usual in the Library.

    I attended the webinar. It was an interesting insight into the work being done by various democratic organisations around Europe and supported by several MEPs who spoke at the webinar of the benefits of Citizens’ Assemblies. The webinar was organised by Democratic Odyssey (eui.eu) who are pushing for a Standing People’s Assembly for Europe to embed deliberative democracy within the EU.
